Council, in conjunction with Trinity Skate Parks, master-planned the revitalisation of the Roma Youth Precinct situated at Bicentennial Park (Hospital Park).
Following the success of the newly installed softfall at the Hospital Park Playground, Maranoa Regional Council is master-planning the revitalisation of the Roma Youth Precinct, including Bicentennial Park (Hospital Park).
Whilst the construction phase of the project is yet to be funded, it is anticipated that the redevelopment will provide additional socially inclusive recreational opportunities for a range of ages, abilities and sporting skills, attract families to congregate in the area, provide a safe and accessible venue for community activities and attract regional and significant community skate events.
Council would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in the recent consultation on the Roma Youth Precinct & Skate Park Master Plan.
Council received 65 online surveys over the three-week period, and over 40 people attended the ‘drop-in’ sessions held at the Skate Park.
