The Bigger Big Rig Project will see the installation of a 40m high observation tower beside the historic EMSCO rig, and a 100m long treewalk meandering the banks of the Bungil Creek. Visitors will be able to travel in a lift up beside the EMSCO Rig and see the 100 year old structure rung by rung. Alternatively, visitors can take the stairs to slowly work their way to the observation deck.

From the observation deck, visitors will be treated to views of the town of Roma and surrounds and a suite of visual and digital information on experiences in outback Queensland including The Great Artesian Spa in Mitchell, the Surat Cobb & Co Changing Station, Carnarvon Gorge, other outback Queensland locations and much more.

On the treewalk, visitors will be able to learn about the oil and gas industry, while elevated over 6m above the Bungil Creek.
